For a variety of reasons related to NHS funding and resources, “Freda’s Fall” is now hosted here on our own site, at https://www.ldnh.co.uk/fredasfall. This was certainly the largest, and probably the best e-learning project that we’ve been involved with.
It was funded by Health Education England and organised by Allied Health Solutions, so we were just part of a big team. The project involved a ‘proper’ film crew, drama students, and a professional actress, Su Elliot, who has worked with, among others, Mike Leigh.
On top of that, it was one of those projects where most things seem to go right. The SME’s were some of the best in their professions, and the scripting meetings were kept to just a few people each time, thus avoiding the “designed by committee” pitfall.
The e-learning was aimed at Allied Health Professionals (physiotherapists, dietitians, occupational therapists, etc), but whether you’re one of those or not, have a look and see what you think.
